Lockdown modes, tab-focus events, and webcam capture do their job well: they confirm what happens inside the assessment window. Modern AI assistants are built to operate outside that window - as always-on-top overlay applications, background processes, remote sessions, or a second device. Nothing inside the browser can observe them.
The threat moved to the operating system
Screen-aware assistants read the assessment on-screen and surface answers in an overlay that never takes focus and often does not appear in a screen share. A browser can only report on itself, so these tools leave no browser-visible trace.

JS snippet
A lightweight script initialises an integrity session with your session identifier and reports environment signals from the browser side. No iframe wrapper, no takeover of your page.
Server-side API
Create sessions, attach candidate and assessment metadata, and retrieve the finished integrity report over a documented REST API. Webhooks notify your backend when a report is ready.
Wrapped launch link
For device-level coverage, the candidate launches through a wrapped link that starts the ScreenComply agent and then hands off to your assessment. The candidate sees one continuous flow.
Runs alongside native proctoring
Nothing here replaces your lockdown mode, webcam capture, or recording. The layer adds signals your browser-based controls cannot observe.
