ScreenComply at the EDUCAUSE E26 Emerging Tech Preview Demo Day
ScreenComply is presenting at the EDUCAUSE E26 Emerging Tech Preview Demo Day on September 14, 2026 at 1:30 PM ET, in the Cybersecurity, Privacy, and Risk Management block. The event is virtual and registration is free.
What we are demoing
The demo shows device-level detection of AI assistance during a live Canvas quiz. A student launches the exam through the ScreenComply Canvas integration, an AI assistant attempts to run alongside it, and the session records what actually happened at the operating-system level - the assistant process, the overlay, the input behavior - as timestamped evidence in an audit-ready integrity report.
Browser-based proctoring cannot see this layer, because desktop AI assistants run outside the browser. The demo is built to make that gap concrete in a few minutes, using the Canvas environment institutions already run.
EDUCAUSE Annual Conference, Denver
ScreenComply will also be at the EDUCAUSE Annual Conference in Denver from September 29 to October 2, 2026. If your institution is evaluating how to handle AI assistance in online exams, we would be glad to walk through the Canvas integration, Detect and Prevent modes, and the integrity report in person.
